Dr Mary Irvine

Mary is a busy mum of three girls. Outside of work she enjoys being involved with her children’s lives and being the “home-maker” as well as going to the gym and getting into the outdoors.

She went to medical school in Edinburgh in the UK, but has been working in Christchurch since 2002. In 2004 she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Women’s Health through the University of Otago, and then General Practice membership examinations in 2005. She likes the variety of the work family medicine brings, but most of all she enjoys the people contact, that is an integral part of this job. She is keen to see all patients young and old, and happy to treat a variety of problems both medical and psychological.
